This group was fun and insightful for me individually and as a couple. The interaction with others was encouraging as well as a great resource. The group helped us recognize the necessity for effective communication in all aspects." --Jeff Sceili

"This group helped our relationship.  It was very valuable, laughable, fun and we loved the yummy treats!" --K & K

"A few things we loved about the group was the ability to talk openly with other couples and learn better ways of communicating. Sounds generic but it really, truly, helped.  Another positive was applying some of the tools from the manual helped us practice what we were discussing in class.  We also gained more appreciation for each other and was able to remember what is important to focus on in our marriage. Lastly, we had a date night .....guaranteed!!!!" --CS

A few years ago our ward held the Strengthening Marriage group. When it was announced, my thoughts were that my marriage is strong and I am happy, so I don't need to attend. I saw a member of the Bishopric at the dentist office and we talked about it. I told him we weren't planning on attending because we had been married for over 30 years and we were happy. He encouraged me to attend the first class and see what I thought, so we did and it was fun and wonderful! I learned that a good, strong marriage can improve and become even better and stronger. We attended each week and grew closer as a couple. A strong marriage is like a strong testimony in that both must be continually nurtured and worked on. Successful marriages just don't happen, they require commitment and constant care, and this group was a great experience for both of us.  --SP
